The controversy intensified after a disturbing video surfaced appearing to show Norman slapping their daughter during a confrontation. Nana Akua Addo is heard reacting in the background, appearing to connect the incident involving the child with her own allegations of being subjected to violence.
The video comes amid the circulation of images and footage showing Addo with visible injuries, including an apparent injury to her lip. Allegations have subsequently emerged that she was assaulted by her husband.
Norman has denied the allegations through his lawyers, who have urged the public not to draw conclusions while the matter is being handled by the relevant authorities.
Addo’s legal team has also appealed to the public and media to stop circulating videos involving the children, citing concerns over their privacy and wellbeing.
