Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has raised concerns about her safety, accusing a dispatch rider identified as Opeyemi of allegedly sending her unsolicited explicit images and continuing to contact her despite her objections.
In a video shared online, the actress said the alleged messages had made her feel threatened. She also recalled that the dispute began in February, when she publicly criticised the rider for sending her messages professing romantic interest after delivering a package to her residence.
According to Martins, the incident attracted public backlash after Opeyemi reportedly lost his job, with some social media users blaming her for the development. She said she later attempted to ease tensions by unblocking him, taking him shopping and for lunch, and helping him obtain a motorcycle donated by one of her fans.
However, the actress alleged that the situation has since escalated, prompting her to issue another public warning. She said she would take appropriate steps if the alleged harassment continued.
The claims have not been independently verified, and Opeyemi’s response to the latest allegations was not included in the report.
